In collaboration with in dusty pattern and souther lifestyle brand Draper James, a team of about 15 students, including myself, were tasked with developing the brands next summer capsule collections. Our task was develop a cohesive, transitional collection of apparel and accessories for their current product assortment for women and girls, as well as adding an extension for boys. In doing so we developed two collections for each delivery, one casual line up and one dressy line up, both have distinct features per category. My roll in this project was a marketing lead and boys design developer. My tasks included developing all of the looks for the boys and assuming they were brand right, cohesively pairing with the women’s and girls collections. As for marketing, I was in charge of developing marketing copy for a promotional plan when the products were launched in store and working on event planning and gifting for the launch event.
